Don ChildsPresidentDon began his theatrical career at the San Francisco Actors Workshop during the theatrically active 1960's. He then obtained a BA from the Univeristy of Iowa and an MFA from Indiana University. A twenty-year teaching career has taken Don from San Diego to Montreal and many places inbetween. He has won awards for his design both domestically and abroad, including being selected to display at the 2005 World Stage Design Exhibit, and considers Slovak designer Ladislav Vychodil his greatest influence. Graham CampbellVice PresidentWith more than twenty years of experience in all aspects of live entertainment and event management, Mr. Campbell's multi-disciplinary approach has resulted in innovative solutions in the service of productions ranging in scale from studio shows in an academic setting to city-wide food and music festivals. He has designed and fabricated solutions for pantomime horses and B-24 bobmers and he enjoys being challenged. William BurnsAudio & AcousticsWilliam is an alum of Sam Houston State University, The O'Neill Project, and The Folger Shakespeare Theatre. As a sophomore in college he won the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival's award for sound design for Smokey Joe's Café. Jane ChildsSales & MarketingJane is fluent in French and has used her facility for languages to rise to the top of a career in marketing and sales. She pursed an MA in Costume Design at the University of Iowa and plied her skills at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival as well as at Indiana University. Jane's expertise in marketing and sales makes her a valued asset on any project. She has additional experience with bookkeeping and is proficient in accounting programs such as QuickBooks. Tera ChildsPreservation SpecialistTera holds a Bachelor of Arts in theatre from the University of Colorado and a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University, with a focus in materials conservation. Her thesis, Restoring Historic Theatres: A Methodology for Adaptation for Contemporary Use, addressed the issues faced in the use of historic theatres in contemporary theatre productions. Danial ColoskyProject ManagerDanny caught the attention of Scenographic Technologies because he was a married full-time theatre technology student, working full-time as the yard manager at a local lumberyard and because he had extensive experience in the construction industry. Danny has been acknowledged by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for his design work, and by Sam Houston State University for is abilities as a technician and as a project manager. Paul CopenhaverProject ManagerPaul is versatile designer and manager. His work experience has included The Alley Theatre in Houston, Cirque du Soleil's production of Ka at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Norcostco in Dallas and Stagelight in Houston. Paul is an accomplished AutoCAD draftsperson and has received awards for his lighting and design work. JC "Jack" CoughlinNetwork & ProgramsJack has extensive experience as a networking technician and digital operations. But it is Jack's passion for historical research and his attention to detail that makes him a valuable member of the Scenographic Technologies staff. |
